Grading Policy:
Note: The instructor will recommend a course change for any student who is consistently performing below a 70% level in this class.
Grades in this course will be based upon the following curricula:
Class Notebooks Students are required to maintain a three-ringed notebook or binder for this class. This notebook must be brought to class daily and will be checked and graded periodically throughout the year. This notebook will contain a detailed schedule of course assignments and activities, an accurate report of the student’s current grade in class, as well as all graded and non-graded work completed by the student for the entire semester.
NOTE: THE INSTRUCTOR WILL COLLECT NOTEBOOK MATERIALS AT THE END OF EACH SEMESTER! IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH STUDENT TO MAINTAIN A COMPLETE COLLECTION OF ALL COURSE MATERIALS IN HIS OR HER NOTEBOOK! STUDENTS WHO DO NOT SUBMIT A COMPLETE NOTEBOOK AT THE END OF A GIVEN SEMESTER WILL BE GIVEN AN INCOMPLETE WITH THE RISK LOSING CREDIT FOR THAT SEMESTER.

Grading Policy:
- Grades in this course will be based upon a total points system. The following scale will be used:
- Students earning 90% to 100% of total points possible will receive an A.
- Students earning 80% to 89.4% of total points possible will receive a B.
- Students earning 70% to 79.4% of total points possible will receive a C.
- Students earning 60% to 69.4% of total points possible will receive a D.
- Students earning less than 59.4% of total points possible will fail this course.
